“UEC Passport Program” is a program started in 2011, and 13 years have passed since then. Our goal is to contribute to the improvement and growth of students’ capabilities as researchers and engineers through their independent research. We also have named the combined ability of “the ability to expand and develop one’s field of expertise” and “the ability to explain and discuss with others in different fields”, which will help students succeed as researchers and engineers in the future, “TOPPA-RYOKU: breakthrough ability”. And we are working to develop students’ “TOPPA-RYOKU: breakthrough ability”. Our current activities can be categorized into 4 categories: “class subjects”, “independent experiments as extracurricular activities”, “joint presentations with other universities” and “external presentations”. This report describes these activities over the past five years. |
