As a result of the analysis of the survey data and the examination of their current situations, it was revealed that approximately 60% of them came to Japan with public scholarships (as of 2015). Many of LDCs students are enrolled in courses where they can study exclusively in English, the situation leads to the challenge related to the Japanese language. Additionally, the lower proficiency in Japanese has been identified as a contributing factor, giving rise to secondary challenges such as difficulties in scholarship application in Japan and part-time job hunting.
