In 2025, Informatics was officially included as one of the tested subjects in the Common Test for University Admissions.\nIn this study, we examine and report on the number of applicants, number of examinees, and examination rates for each subject by prefecture, based on the official data released to the press by the National Center for University Entrance Examinations on the day of the main examination in 2023, 2024, and 2025.
