Test devices of vacuum fluorescence display were prepared, and cathodeluminescence intensity was unfortunately as small as 10 cd m-2 at present. The atmosphere in the solid-state reaction of the phosphor synthesis changed the dependence of cathodeluminescence intensity on acceleration voltage.
